Teenagers and what makes them SPECIAL

I don't actually know how to introduce myself. Let's start with my name. I'm Patricia, co-something of this awesome blog. In my totally honest and unbiased opinion? We should've started this last year.

Teenagers are a species of their own. We have our own eating habits, sleeping habits, emotional capacity, way of thinking. We're a special breed that everyone would prefer to ignore because we honestly could rule the freaking world, given the chance.

We're smart, we're capable, we can actually do things, instead of arguing about doing them around polished fake wooden tables (and I just summed up the government right there). People overlook us because they don't know what we're capable of and that scares them. So they stifle us and drown our screams and protests behind studies and expectations they never actually expect us to fill.

And this is where the angst comes in. You feel like nobody understand, no one will ever know how you feel, it's just so hard. Why is everyone doing this to you? Why you? What did you ever do against them?

Well, that's where you're wrong. No one understands, but actually a lot people do. No one know how you feel, but there are millions going through the exact same things, problems, as you. It's hard, but that's always how it's gonna go down buddy. That's life, sweetheart, sorry it didn't come with the cuddles and rainbows you expected it to.

This blog is dedicated to angsty teenagers and basically angst-es (an official word) all over the world and the shit they give us. So now, maybe you can understand that, Treffery and I?

We might be going through the exact same crap these fuckers are giving you.

Patricia, signing out.
